(I didn't eat any of these.)

What do you eat each day? Not a good question I know, but that's what I am asking to myself. What do I eat each day that makes me gain weight... umm, a slice of bread? a cup of tea? glasses of water? some rusks with my coffee or that bowl of lentil soup and then working 8 hours in the school dealing with twenty five kids at a time and standing on one feet for the whole day. I don't think any of these make you gain weight specially when you are working and exercising a lot and you are also getting proper sleep time.
I am avoiding fatty food as much as I can but still it seems like not working with me.

Any advice do you have that can help me?

Hi sweetie! seeing another post of yours after a long interval :(
I think it happens with most of us and you can also consult a good doctor.
Also try drinking 3 glasses of warm water the first thing in the morning.
That's nothing to worry about sweetie, it happens in our age. Hope you overcome this dilemma soon.

assalamualaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu sissy!!

I'll give u some suggestions (see what i can pull up from my personal training, nutrion advising days insha'Allah) .... firstly, you are eating eay to little if your days are 8 hours long and running around with the kiddies. Also, you are lacking protein and veggies its essential to get in protein and some veggies and fruits..I'm not sure if you are eating only this...or if there are snacks in between..there is a lot that can factor in weight gain...it might even be just being bloated ... a lot of people think eating less will help them lose weight, this is true but it depends WHAT you are eating. It sounds like you are just stocking up on carbs and thats not enough for weight loss. But again, a lot of things can factor in weight gain, even lack of sleep can!!! If you want some more info then let me know ! I've done much dieting in my days...and can share some info if you need insha'Allah!!!

Waalaikum Assalam Wr Wb
I agree I am eating too less and skipping meals and NO snacks, I eat fruits when my tummy cries for something yummy.
I would really like to know some healthy breakfast that will keep me running for 8 hours and will be helpful in weight loss too.

Salam Alaikum sister,

Believe or not being stressed about loosing weight could be one of the reasons why your not noticing much weight loss,

stress can contribute to weight gain in several ways, and one of them is that it increases your cortisol levels, which in turn can slow your metabolism! This means that you can consume the same amount of calories as usual, but burn them at a slower rate. Because of this, it’s important to learn some good relaxation techniques to quickly return your cortisol levels to normal when you’ve experienced some stress.

assalamualaikum wr wb sis...

eating too little is the key to weight gain...your body goes into starvation mode and absorbs all the food that you are eating..and if its just carbs..than thats definitely a key factor..

i will email you insha'Allah some healthy breakfasts and snacks that you can squeeze in during your busy day insha'Allah. ..and try it out for 3 weeks and see if you notice a difference!! :)
